Public Input Sought for Capitol Complex Master Plan

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services asks Iowans to provide feedback
as planners shape a vision for the future

DES MOINES — Planners for the Capitol Complex want input from Iowans across the state. The Department of Administrative Services is charged with updating the Master Plan for the Capitol Complex, the buildings and grounds surrounding the State Capitol in Des Moines. The last plan was completed in 2000; this update will be completed in time to present to the 2010 session of the General Assembly. The goal for the 2010 update is to create a master plan with a world-class vision by combining sustainable design principles and recognizing the historical significance of our buildings and grounds.

An online survey is available for all Iowans at https://surveymk.com/iowamasterplan. To submit your comments by mail or to request a paper copy of the survey, citizens should write to:
